Chief Executive Officer, Owner, President
Mark is a registered pharmacist and one of the owners of Diamond Pharmacy Services. Mark is fully dedicated to the management of correctional facilities. He provides direct operational oversight in the areas of policies and procedures, production, drug formulary design, managed care, cost containment studies, mail order services, etc. Mark has been directly involved with all of Diamond’s correctional contracts and has overseen most of our facilities’ start ups. Most recently, Mark has been instrumental in the creation of three new Diamond subsidiaries, SapphireHealth, InnovaHealth and RemedyRepack.

Vice President, Co-founder, Consultant
Gilbert is involved with basic management of contracts, consulting, and internal operations. He has forty-seven years experience in clinical pharmacy consulting to institutions performing drug regimen reviews, ensuring OBRA, psychotropic protocols, nursing med reviews, ect. Gib is an expert on pharmacy and nursing laws and regulations. He will keep facilities up to date on current regulations and policies. Gib has a solid understanding of Diamond’s procedures and correctional facility needs and is responsible for different facilities throughout the United States. His involvement in the set up includes writing policies and procedures, conversion of Diamond Pharmacy system, formulary development and ongoing facility maintenance.

Secretary, Co-founder, Consultant
Joan has been president of Diamond Drugs, Inc. for over 20 years. She maintains an active role overseeing accounts in Louisiana and New Jersey.
Joan is a graduate of Duquesne University, along with her husband, Gilbert. In 2014, they were named as Distinguished Alumni, the first husband and wife team to be honored together. In October 2015, they will be inducted into the Duquesne University Century Club of Distinguished Alumni. The have also been recognized by the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce as inaugural inductees into the Business Hall of Fame. She is involved in many outside activities and many charitable organizations.

Director of Pharmacy Operations
Matt started with the company in 1996. He assumed managerial roles within the first few years of employment and has seen the company grow from a work force of 25 employees to our current staff of over 1000 employees. His responsibilities include oversight of all pharmacy operations for the skilled nursing division, personal care division, and correctional division as well as Diamond’s IT department, systems development, customer service, and purchasing. His vision on automation, barcode technology, and workflow management has positioned Diamond to meet the needs and challenges of today’s correctional marketplace. He also envisioned the need for a wholesale and repackaging division to meet the needs of our client base and started Diamond Wholesale along with RemedyRepack. Matt continues to play a vital role in Diamond’s operational initiatives and continues working with our team to provide leadership in the development and purchasing of new software/technology/hardware for quality improvement/new business.

Director of Clinical Services/Special Projects Correctional Division
Matt is responsible for oversight of our clinical review services as well special project oversight. This includes formulary review; drug utilization-disease state management review and evidence based medicine review applied to facility drug usage and cost containment. As a certified American Academy of HIV Medicine Pharmacist, Matt is also in charge of HIV/HEP C education for our customers and Diamond pharmacists assuring patients are placed on appropriate regimens/protocols. He oversees ongoing projects including Diamond’s 340B program arrangements and company compliance with 340B guidelines. As special project manager he also assists in the oversight of our long term care satellite pharmacy in Reading PA, working to ensure a high level of operational efficiency and quality of our service. Matt also is the Account Executive responsible for managing the Kentucky DOC account as well as one of our largest medical groups which include being a member of their respected P&T committees.

RN Consultant
In addition to providing consultation and educational services to long-term care customers, Debi oversees all nursing services provided by the organization. She directly oversees the LPN/Medication Exchange Tech Dept. and is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance of the IV Dept. Additionally, Debi is the Infection Control Coordinator and is in charge of formulating infection control policies for the pharmacy. As a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, Debi has established a Wellness Clinic for Diamond employees and provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute care issues such as infections, skin conditions and minor injuries.

Director of Customer Care
Christine oversees all areas of customer service for Diamond’s Correctional, Long-Term Care, and Medical Supply divisions. She works hand-in-hand with pharmacists and sales team members to provide individualized and customer-focused services for all Diamond facilities. Christine is also responsible for training and educational in-services for new and existing staff, supervises call center customer service technicians, and mediates all customer care directly with facilities that Diamond serves.
