Diamond/Optics clinical pharmacist (and host of PodcastRx ) Christopher Bender will present a Grand Rounds session for the American College of Correctional Physicians (ACCP) titled “Breathing Room: Asthma and COPD Management Across the Guidelines and Behind the Walls”, November 5 at 1:00 PM EST.
The presentation will focus on COPD evaluation and treatment and guidance for applying clinical recommendations in correctional settings. The session is free to all attendees.
Touted by ACCP as "the only twice-monthly forum devoted to clinical education in correctional healthcare", the Grand Rounds stream live year-round on the first and third Thursdays of each month and feature correctional health experts presenting on select topics before taking questions from viewers. Each session is recorded for the ACCP member library and counts for Continuing Medical Eduation (CME) approved through the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Thursday's session will be the first to feature a Diamond clinical pharmacist.
